Runlikehealth Epi. 37 Deconstructing Cravings, and Some Velo Talk
What…..is…….up! Welcome to episode 37 of the runlikehealth podcast. In this episode I do a lengthy 2 week post marathon training update. Training is going well. I have transitioned well into full on 70.3 training. It’s odd, but in many ways I’m finding this training cycle much easier than marathon training. The intensity will pick up for sure, but it’s just overall a lot less impact on my body.
In this show, I have a big announcement that I’m very excited to share with you. I talk a little bit about deconstructing cravings, and I also answer some cycling questions from listener Bill.

Re your phone on the bike. There is a product called “Bento Box” that fits on the top tube that works great for phone, gels, etc and does not interfere with riding. Put the phone and $ in a ziplock bag. Great podcast, and keeps me company on my daily runs. From Georgetown (near Austin) TX

Hey Keith, thanks for the suggestion. I did end up getting a Bento Box for the bike. It worked great during my 70.3 for holding my perpetuem solids. I have this nifty cycling app that I just discovered called BikeBrain. It uses the iphone just like a cycling computer giving real time speed, distance and mapping data. It’s pretty cool, but I need to get a mount to put the phone where I can see it. Thanks for listening to the show!
