RLH Epi. 40 Interview w/Coach Brett from Zentri

What……is…..up! Welcome to episode 40 of the runlikehealth podcast. As always, thanks so much for checking out the show. I’ve got a real treat for you this week. Coach Brett from Zen and the Art of Triathlon makes a second appearance on the show. Awesome interview with a really cool cat. We discuss all kinds of endurance sport goodness, including but not limited to, epic 13 hour swims, suffering, crashing on rollers, smoking a cigarette before a 10K. Good times! When you done listening to episode 40, go check out the Zentri website and podcast. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Jake: I really enjoy your podcasts, but I particularly enjoyed your interview with Coach Brett. Both of your podcasts are my favorites, and I very much liked hearing both of you on the same podcast. I was running a 16 mile run and the temperature was in the 90′s and the humidity was equally as high – coincidentally you were talking about “suffering” and, believe me, I certainly felt like I was suffering during that run. I enjoyed myself, being out and participating in an activity that I truly enjoy, but the heat and humidity certainly made it feel like “suffering!”

I have picked up so much usable information and advice from your podcasts during the last year and have incorporated much of your advice into my nutrition and running. Keep up the great work – i look forward to each one.

    • Royce, Thank you so much for the very kind comment. I really appreciate it. That sounds like it was a sufferfest for sure in the heat and humidity. Thanks for taking me along.

      Jake
